To lose 20-30 pounds, a Wii fit maybe?

It began with a Gameboy, leading to a Gamecube, and now our home has been infested with a Wii. We would not have a Wii had the boy not earned the money to pay for it himself, notwithstanding the fact that Grandpa paid him twenty dollars a day just for hanging out with him. “Mom did Grandpa pay you $50 to mow the lawn when you were a kid?” My son is so naive.
On a positive note, video games are not as messy as board games can be. Think Mousetrap, enough said. The children very much enjoy playing video games together, even as spectators of single player games, although we lean toward the multiplayer games. I like making them play games where they have to cooperate, although I don’t like playing those games myself as I am always the weakest link. One of the nice things about the traditional video games is that they are good for rounding up the children and keeping them in one place.
